Bombay YMCA Counselling Training Institute & Centre, located at the Navi Mumbai Branch, has been serving the community with counselling services since 2008. The Institute has trained over 300 men and women from various churches. We provide counselling for Adults, Teenagers, Children, and Couples. Additionally, we conduct counselling for NMMC School and Correctional Management for Prisons.
Training & Seminars
YMCA Counselling Institute offers training and seminars on the following:
– Introduction to Biblical Counselling in Hindi & English (2 days).
– Basics of Biblical Counselling Training (4 Days)
– Advanced Biblical Counselling Level – 1 (7 Days).
– Advanced Biblical Counselling Level – 2 Modules 1 & 2 (8 Days).
The above training programmes are accredited by A.C.C. (Association of Christian Counsellors, South Asia).
We also conduct seminars and workshops on related topics such as marriage enrichment, stress management, child counselling, youth counselling, happy parenting, sexual abuse, anger management, etc.
Counselling services
The counselling center offers services to individuals whose lives have been disrupted by emotional, behavioral, family, or social issues. We maintain a referral list of specialists, psychiatrists, and professional psychologists. We assure 100% confidentiality to the client. Our services are offered at nominal charges to cater to all classes of people. Additionally, we conduct Counselling Supervisory sessions to enhance the skills of our volunteer Counsellors.
We provide:
– Counselling at the Centre.
– Counselling Services to Private and Municipal Schools.
– Correctional Management Counselling for Prisons in Navi Mumbai & Mumbai (Men & Women).
– Counselling services to various orphanages in Mumbai.
